How Long Hemorrhoids Last Part Two

How Long Hemorrhoids Last

If you are facing the pain, itchiness and general discomfort of a hemorrhoid outbreak, probably all you can think about is when they will go away. In an earlier post discussing how long hemorrhoids will last, the diagnosis was not so bright but either way it can be a major distraction from your daily life. Not only do you constantly have the itchiness, but also it can be so uncomfortable that you are unable to sit in your normal chair at work without using pillows or other tools, which can be awkward and embarrassing.

2 Points that determine how long hemorrhoids will last

Each case of hemorrhoids is different. The amount of time they last will mainly rely on two things: severity and treatment.

A mild case of hemorrhoids may clear up on their own in just a few short days. This is because they are only very small veins that have become irritated, so it is much easier for them to simply go down on their own and disappear. However, major cases may take weeks to clear up, if they do at all, on their own. In these cases a doctor may wish to try a hemorrhoid cream or other natural treatment program.

Some hemorrhoid treatments can cause them to reduce or go away after a very short time. Some of the laser and surgical treatments will leave you feeling much better after just one treatment. But, some of the less invasive treatments may take more time.

No matter how severe your hemorrhoids are, if it is something that happens often, you may wish to visit a doctor to try and control the situation. You will be much more comfortable in the future if you can reduce the length and severity of your outbreaks.
